Tour: Provide a Quote
<< Return to CompositeRFQ Help: ToursCompositeRFQ is designed to make the quoting process as intuitive as possible. Once you’ve found a project that looks interesting, quoting starts with a single click.

This brings up the Provide a Quote window. In the Note to Buyer entry box, you can write a cover letter, explaining the files you attached or bring attention to particular advantages your quote brings.

Key points are drawn from the RFQ, specifically the quote quantities and milestone dates requested. Entering them separately from the larger attached proposal helps Buyers to quickly compare proposals on the basis of what's immediately important to them.
As for the remainder of your proposal (since every company has different forms for providing quotes), we put in place the means for you to directly upload your proposal document into the proposal. We recommend using PDF documents to remove the possibility of word processor incompatibilities. If you wish to submit multiple documents as part of your proposal (perhaps including general brochures or certifications), click the Add Another Proposal button as many times as you have documents.
Once you have attached all the documents supporting your proposal, click Save and Confirm to submit your proposal. Once submitted, your proposal will appear on the Project Details view. If the RFQ is sealed, the only information that will show is the timestamp of the submission.
