Viewing Proposals

<< Return to CompositeRFQ Help

Once a project has been submitted and approved, it becomes available for the User community to view and submit proposal. As these proposals are submitted, they become accessible by you, viewed within the Project Manager.

During the course of the quote window (the period when Users can submit quotes), you can view your active quotes by clicking the Active link in the Project Manager:RFQs menu. Each project that is currently active is listed here; including title, any questions that have been asked about the project, and quotes the project has received. Click on the project that you are interested in to view the project details.

Beneath the description, there is an area for questions, and at the bottom you can see the quotes that you have received. Each proposal shows the critical information you might need to make casual comparisons, such as meeting the deadline dates, or quantity pricing. Each user may also attach various documents to their proposal to cover additional details. These documents may be viewed from here.

As the author of the RFQ, you can see all the information submitted. However, depending on whether you chose an open or sealed bidding process, the other users may only have limited access to this information.

When the quote window ends, RFQs are moved to either Closed or Ready for Quoting, depending on whether or not they received any proposals.
